Turmus ayya: Israeli colonists cut down hundreds of olive trees on Friday in lands belonging to the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, according to local sources. Resident Awad Abu Samra reported that colonists from the Adi Ad settlement, which is built on the town's lands, destroyed approximately 300 olive trees in the town's plains.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the incident follows a similar attack last week when colonists uprooted around 300 olive trees near the home of the Awwad family in the same area. This region has been repeatedly targeted in ongoing assaults.
