Palestinian Weather Forecast: Rainy Conditions with Thunderstorms Expected

Ramallah: The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted a continuation of rainy and partially cloudy weather conditions as atmospheric instability persists across the country. Showers are expected to fall in various areas, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the PMD reports that winds will vary from easterly to northwesterly, with light to moderate speeds and occasional gusts. Sea waves are anticipated to remain low throughout the period. As night approaches, the weather will continue to be partly cloudy with intermittent rain showers and potential thunderstorms.

The forecast for Friday indicates a continuation of the unstable weather, with temperatures dropping and scattered showers likely in some regions, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms. The outlook for the weekend predicts partially cloudy skies for both Saturday and Sunday.

The PMD has issued warnings to citizens to be cautious during this period of atmospheric instability. There is a risk of floods forming in valleys and low-lying areas, slippery roads in regions experiencing rainfall, and reduced horizontal visibility.
