A 17-year-old Palestinian teenager, identified as Mahmoud Abu Haniya, was shot dead this evening by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Azzun, in the occupied West Bank governorate of Qalqilya, according to local sources. The sources told WAFA that an Israeli military unit stormed Azzun, sparking confrontations with local residents, during which the Israeli occupation soldiers fired live ammunition and toxic gas canisters. This resulted in Abu Haniya sustaining critical gunshot wounds to the back. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was announced dead of his wounds by the Ministry of Health.
