GAZA: A member of the Palestinian Red Crescent was killed early this morning after being shot by Israeli occupation forces at Al-Amal Hospital, west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. Medical sources confirmed the death of Amir Subhi Abu Eisha, an emergency operations room staff member at the Palestinian Red Crescent, killed by Israeli gunfire while on duty at Al-Amal Hospital. This tragic incident marks the killing of 364 medical workers, including doctors, nurses, and paramedics, since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th, now entering its 170th day. The targeting of medical personnel and facilities by Israeli occupation forces constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law particularly the provisions concerning the protection of medical personnel at times of warfare.
