Palestinian Meteorological Department Predicts Significant Weather Changes

Ramallah: The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted a series of significant weather changes over the coming days. Monday will experience partly cloudy conditions with very hot temperatures, which are expected to remain approximately 13 degrees Celsius above the seasonal average. Light to moderate northwesterly winds will accompany low to moderate sea waves, providing some relief from the heat.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the evening and night will bring clearer and more pleasant weather to most areas. As the week progresses, a noticeable shift in the weather pattern is anticipated. On Tuesday, temperatures are predicted to drop but will still hover around 6 degrees Celsius above average, with partly cloudy and pleasant conditions.

Wednesday will see a continuation of the partly cloudy skies, with the weather becoming more spring-like. Temperatures will align closely with the annual average, and scattered rain showers are expected to develop in some areas during the evening and night.

By Thursday, the region will be impacted by a low-pressure cold front, bringing a drastic change in temperature and conditions. The weather is projected to be generally cloudy and cold to very cold, with temperatures plunging to approximately 6 degrees Celsius below the annual average. Scattered showers are anticipated across most areas, and the PMD has issued warnings about potential hazards such as significant temperature drops, slippery roads due to rainfall, reduced visibility, and strong winds during this period.
