Jerusalem: A young Palestinian man was shot and wounded by Israeli occupation forces early Saturday morning at the Hizmeh military checkpoint east of occupied Jerusalem. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition at the young man, wounding him in the leg. He was then transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.
