RAMALLAH: A Palestinian man was injured on Wednesday by Israeli occupation forces in Jalazone camp, north of Ramallah. Local sources reported that a young man was injured and was transferred to the hospital for a medical treatment. The occupation forces also detained at least 16 Palestinians and subjected them to field investigation. Local sources said that large forces of the occupation army stormed the camp, turned it into a field investigation, and detained a number of young men after raiding and searching their homes. Intense confrontations erupted between the young men and the occupation forces, during which the forces fired live bullets, sound bombs and teargas bombs towards civilians and their houses. They pointed out that the occupation forces closed all entrances leading to the camp, preventing citizens from entering and leaving it. Following their withdrawal from the camp, the occupation forces closed the Ramallah-Nablus road and prevented citizens' vehicles from moving in both directions.
