Bethlehem: The General Authority for Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health on Sunday evening that a Palestinian was killed by Israeli occupation forces' live fire at the Gush Etzion junction, south of Bethlehem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Ministry of Health stated in a brief announcement that they were informed about the killing of a young man identified as 31-year-old Amjad Jawad Abdel Fattah Natsheh. The incident occurred after Israeli occupation forces opened fire in the junction area located south of the governorate.
This incident adds to the recent surge in attacks by Israeli occupation forces across the West Bank governorates. These attacks have resulted in several Palestinians being killed, alongside the injury and detention of numerous citizens. The most recent victim before Natsheh was 26-year-old Imad Haroun Ashtiyeh from the village of Salem, east of Nablus. Ashtiyeh succumbed to his injuries on Sunday after being shot in the thigh with live ammunition by Israeli occupation forces near the Ramm wall.
