Post: Palestinian Foreign Ministry Warns of Israeli Plans to Annex Gaza Strip

Ramallah: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has issued a warning regarding the Israeli occupation's plans, as discussed by the Israeli Security Cabinet, to gradually annex the Gaza Strip. The Ministry views this move as part of a broader strategy that includes the forced displacement of Palestinians in the region, which could undermine the goal of establishing a Palestinian state on the ground.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, in a press release issued Tuesday, the Ministry emphasized its ongoing efforts to prevent crimes of genocide, displacement, and annexation against the Palestinian people. The Ministry urged the international community to address these plans with urgency and to take necessary actions to stop them immediately.

The Ministry highlighted that halting these crimes, ensuring the continuous delivery of humanitarian aid, and empowering the State of Palestine to exercise its legal and political authority over its entire territory are crucial steps towards alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people and achieving their aspirations for freedom and independence.
