Palestinian Foreign Ministry Strongly Denounces Killing of Dawabsheh by Israeli Colonists in Nablus

Nablus: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly denounced the killing of 35-year-old Thameen Dawabsheh from the village of Duma, south of Nablus, who was shot dead by Israeli colonists. The Ministry described the incident as premeditated and a deliberation execution, labeling it as a fully-fledged crime.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Ministry expressed deep concern over the escalating violence by colonists, including the use of live ammunition with the intent to kill Palestinians. With Dawabsheh's death, the number of Palestinians killed by colonists since the start of the year has increased to ten.

The Ministry affirmed it is actively engaging with countries, the United Nations, and relevant councils to address the crimes of genocide, forced displacement, annexation, and colonist terrorism. It is calling for the imposition of deterrent international sanctions against the occupying state to compel it to halt its attacks and the crimes of its colonists, dismantle their armed militias, and lift protection from them.
