Gaza: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip surged to 61,722 civilians, according to medical sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the total death toll in the Gaza Strip has climbed to 61,722, mostly women and children, since the onset of the aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023. The toll of casualties since the outbreak of the aggression has also climbed to 154,525.
Medical sources noted that just within the last 24 hours, the bodies of 21 slain Palestinians, including one retrieved from the rubble, and 185 casualties were transferred to hospitals. They also announced the deaths of eight Palestinians, including three children, in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip.
