Palestinian fisherman wounded by Israeli bullets in Gaza Sea
A Palestinian fisherman was wounded by Israeli Navy bullets while fishing at sea in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
In a brief statement, the Palestinian fishermen union said that Mohammad Baker was wounded by Israeli rubber bullet while he was working in the middle of the sea in northern Gaza.
The occupation navy pursues more than 4,500 Palestinian fishermen on a daily basis to prevent them from crossing limited distances ranging from six to 12 nautical miles.
It carries out arrests of fishermen and confiscation of boats, from time to time, even though they do not exceed the permitted distances.
