Palestinian Envoy in Hungary Briefs French MPs on Palestine Situation

Budapest: The Palestinian Ambassador to Hungary, Fadi Al-Husseini, briefed French National Assembly members Thomas Portes and Gabriel Cathala from the La France Insoumise party on the latest field and humanitarian developments in Palestine, along with ongoing Palestinian diplomatic efforts.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the meeting took place at the Palestinian Embassy in Budapest, where Ambassador Al-Husseini highlighted the efforts of the Palestinian Embassy in Hungary to promote the Palestinian narrative. He emphasized the use of public diplomacy tools and social media engagement to strengthen public solidarity.

The French parliamentarians expressed their support for the Palestinian people's right to freedom and self-determination. They emphasized their commitment to meeting Palestinian representatives during their international visits to gain a better understanding of their perspective.

Both parties concurred on the need for enhanced coordination between European parliamentarians who support Palestine and Palestinian diplomatic missions. This collaboration aims to ensure respect for international law and to halt violations against civilians.
