Gaza: The Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, alongside the Tubas Governorate, successfully secured a precautionary court order on Sunday to halt the demolition of various residential structures and livestock shelters located in the northern Jordan Valley.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Moataz Bisharat, who is responsible for settlement-related affairs in the Tubas Governorate, confirmed that the injunction affects dozens of residential structures and livestock shelters. These structures are owned by ten Palestinian families who had previously received demolition notices from Israeli authorities several months ago.
Bisharat explained that the court order serves as a temporary measure to prevent the demolition orders from being carried out while ongoing legal procedures take place. The decision marks a significant development for the affected families in the northern Jordan Valley, providing them with a reprieve as the legal process unfolds.
