Gaza: French Foreign Minister Jean-No«l Barrot said on Sunday that France is considering imposing additional sanctions on Israeli colonists in response to the expansion of what he described as illegal colonial activity in the occupied West Bank and increasing violence against Palestinians.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Barrot expressed deep concern over the escalation of colonial activity and growing attacks by Israeli colonists against Palestinians. He mentioned that 'other, more stringent sanctions could be imposed in the coming days,' highlighting the urgency of the situation.
Barrot added that he is advocating for sanctions not only against individuals responsible for acts of violence, but also against entities, companies, and organizations in Israel that provide extremist colonists with the means to expel Palestinians from their land, burn crops, and destroy public property.
