RAMALLAH: Israeli occupation forces arrested at least ten Palestinians overnight into Sunday, including a child and former prisoners, during military raids across various areas of the occupied West Bank. According to a joint statement from the Palestinian Prisoners' Society and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the detentions occurred in the provinces of Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Tulkarm, Ramallah, Hebron, and Tubas. The statement emphasized that Israeli forces continue extensive raids and violent acts during these detention campaigns, which include severe beatings and threats directed at detainees and their families. There have also been reports of widespread destruction to the homes of those targeted. Since the onset of the ongoing Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people in October 2023, over 10,800 individuals have been detained in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, according to the statement.
