Israeli occupation warplanes carried out on Friday evening a series of new airstrikes on the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital, Beirut. Field sources reported that the Israeli aircraft fired multiple missiles at the Al Laylaki area in the suburb. Earlier, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli airstrikes on the Harat Hreik area in the southern suburb of Beirut had risen to six, with 91 others injured. The Israeli warplanes also launched heavy airstrikes on Harat Hreik in Beirut's southern suburbs this evening. According to the Lebanese National News Agency, thick clouds of smoke blanketed the sky, and the sound of large explosions was heard throughout Beirut and its surrounding areas.
