Qalqilya: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the city of Qalqilya and the villages of Jayyous and Asla, east of the West Bank, on Wednesday. Local sources reported that IOF entered the city from the main eastern entrance and were seen deploying in the Kafr Saba and Al-Qura'an neighborhoods. During the operation, a residential building in the Rawdat Al-Islamiyya area was raided and searched by the forces before they withdrew. There were no reports of detentions following the incursion.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the IOF also stormed the village of Asla, located east of Qalqilya. Several homes were raided and searched, including the residence of Hussam Abu Radi. Similar to the situation in Qalqilya, no detentions were reported in Asla.
In Jayyous, IOF vehicles were seen patrolling the streets, where they set up a temporary military checkpoint. After completing their operation, the forces withdrew from the village without making any detentions.
