Occupation Forces Issue Demolition Notice Against Inhabited House in Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces issued a demolition notice on Monday for an inhabited house in the village of Al-Ma'sara, south of Bethlehem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Breijieh, Director of the International Law Department at the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, informed their correspondent that the occupation forces handed Mahmoud Suleiman Zawahra a demolition notice for his one-story home, which spans 300 square meters. The reason cited for the demolition notice was the alleged lack of a permit.

In the first half of 2025, the occupation forces issued 556 demolition notices against Palestinian structures, claiming they lacked the necessary permits. Among these were 322 inhabited homes, 18 uninhabited structures, 151 structures classified as agricultural, and 97 structures designated as sources of livelihood and other purposes.
