Jenin: Israeli occupation forces Monday installed an iron gate at the entrance to the town of Silat al-Dahr, south of Jenin.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, local sources reported that the installation of the iron gate near Homesh colony has obstructed the movement of citizens’ vehicles, leading to a severe traffic jam.
The ongoing aggression on Jenin Governorate has persisted for the 28th consecutive day, with occupation forces routinely storming towns and villages, conducting home raids, and launching arrest campaigns.
Since the beginning of the year, the occupation has installed 18 new iron gates between the cities, towns, and villages of the West Bank. Moreover, approximately 149 gates have been installed since October 7, 2023.
