TUBAS: Three Palestinians were injured by live bullets and five others were arrested today during an Israeli military raid into Al-Far'a refugee camp in the northern West Bank province of Tubas, according to local and medical sources. The sources reported that Anas Nasr Sawalmeh, a local young resident, was shot in the hand with live ammunition by the Israeli forces before they assaulted the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance he was in-while being transported to hospital-and detained him. Two other young men sustained gunshot wounds-one in the chest and the other in both legs. They were promptly transported to the Turkish Governmental Hospital in nearby Tubas for medical treatment. The Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) in Tubas said that five Palestinians, including two children, were arrested during the camp's invasion. The two children were identified as Aziz Fares Sawalmeh, 17, 17 years old, and Abdul Fares Sawalmeh, 14. Earlier in the morning, undercover Israeli forces sneaked into Al-Far'a refugee camp in, followed by additional reinforcements that arrived from the Hamra military checkpoint. Confrontations erupted as a result, and the Israeli forces besieged a house within the camp, targeting it with a projectile. The occupants were urged to surrender by the Israeli forces.
