Gaza city: Medical sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces have been besieging Al-Helou International Hospital in Gaza City since yesterday evening, targeting it with a barrage of artillery shells, despite the presence of dozens of patients and displaced persons inside.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the occupation forces are surrounding the hospital from all sides, with tanks approaching its perimeter. Medical staff and patients have been forced to gather on the lower floors, preventing access to or exit from the hospital.
The hospital, which includes several departments such as a cancer unit and a nursery housing 12 premature babies, is currently housing more than 90 individuals, including medical staff and patients. These individuals are trapped inside the facility amid a complete disruption of communications and the internet.
