French club Nice announced Thursday signing of Egyptian defender Mohamed Abdel Moneim on a contract that will last until 2028 from Al Ahly Club. In a statement on its official website, the French club described the Egyptian defender as a star and a mainstay of one of the big teams in Africa, boasting many accomplishments at club and international levels. Abdel Moneim, 25, grew up in Al Ahly club and was loaned to Smouha and Future clubs before returning to his first team (Al Ahly) with whom he played 115 matches in various competitions, scoring 8 goals, while he played 25 international matches with his country's national team and scored two goals.
