Amman: Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa Sunday discussed studying the legal, social and psychological aspects of media coverage of children in care homes. Bani Mustafa met with official body representatives and care homes on social integration and media coverage related to children in care homes. She said, "The ministry is keen to preserve the dignity of children benefiting from the services of care homes and not to exploit them or expose them to danger." She discussed focusing on subsequent care for beneficiaries to enable them to integrate into society, adding, "Social Development has various programmes within its strategic plan that include enhancing the social integration of groups in need of protection and care." Minister of State for Legal Affairs Nancy Nimroqa discussed studying and analysing the law regulating the work of care and protection homes and coming up with recommendations that serve children's interests in media coverage.
