Al-Khalili praised the role and continuous efforts of Catholic Relief Services in supporting and assisting the Palestinian people and Palestinian women in particular in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, noting that these interventions are in line with the government's orientations and the ministry's strategy and vision, especially in the field of protecting and empowering marginalized groups, especially women. She provide d a detailed explanation of the repercussions of the aggression and the war of extermination on the Palestinian people, and on women in particular, and the governmental and international efforts to secure relief for our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem. In turn, Makari provided a briefing on the services provided in the Gaza Strip, and their partnership with the World Food Programme and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which consists of providing urgent relief services to a number of families (cash assistance, meals and psychological assistance), with a focus on women, children and people with disabilities. He touched on the efforts of Catholic relief in the West Bank, focusing on areas classified as (C) and refugee camps, and directing interventions with current priorities. The two parties agreed to implement relief and development programmes for women, whether in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank, in a way that mitigates the repercuss ions of the war of extermination against the Palestinian people, and the repercussions of the escalation and violence of the settlers, and in a way that enhances the steadfastness of citizens and improves the livelihoods of women, girls and families headed by women.
