Finance Minister Abdul-Jabbar Ahmed Mohamed met on Tuesday with Al-Jawf Governor Faisal Haidar. During the meeting, which included the Director General of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance, Eng. Shihab Al-Shami, they reviewed the projects implemented by the unit in Al-Jawf Governorate. He touched on priority projects within the governorate plan, to which the Central Interventions Unit can contribute, in addition to community initiatives projects. The meeting stressed the need to pay attention to water barrier projects, which are of great importance in the governorate, which is characterized by fertile arable soil, which will contribute to providing many agricultural crops, especially wheat. During the meeting, the Minister of Finance stressed keenness to support priority projects in Al-Jawf. He stressed that local development within the governorates is one of the most important priorities of the government of change and construction. Minister Abdul Jabbar dir ected the intervention unit to provide ten thousand liters of diesel to the governorate urgently to contribute to facing the flood damage in the provincial capital and a number of directorates.
