The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expects scattered rain of varying intensity in a number of provinces during the next 24 hours. The center said in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that it expects rain of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunder, in various areas of Sa'ada, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz provinces and the highlands adjacent to the Tihama Plain and extending east to include parts of Al Dhale', Lahj, Abyan, Al Bayda, Shabwa and the Hadhramaut Plateau province. Scattered rains are also expected on parts of the eastern and southern coasts and the deserts of Hadramaut and Al-Mahra provinces. The center warned citizens against being in flood paths and valley valleys and risking crossing them during and after rain, as well as against using mobile phones , electrical appliances and being near tall trees and high places to avoid lightning strikes. It also warned vehicle drivers to avoid low visi bility due to rain or fog and to cross land bridges when torrential rains flow. Source: Yemen News Agency
