Meta added new AI-powered features to WhatsApp Business app such as helping with the creation of click-to-WhatsApp ads and generating responses to frequent customer messages. CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg said: "Now, our vision is not just to build a single AI assistant, but also to enable lots of different AIs that can serve different purposes, including for businesses. Any business should be able to quickly stand up an agent that can talk to your customers, provide support, and facilitate commerce." He added that WhatsApp Business users will be able to leverage AI to create Facebook and Instagram ads that can start a WhatsApp chat with a business. He noted that Meta plans to denote AI-generated messages clearly so customers know that they are not talking to a representative of a company. Source: Qatar News Agency
