The Lebanese Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced the closure of Lebanese airspace to all arriving, departing and crossing Lebanese airspace. The Ministry said in a statement: 'In view of the developments taking place in the region, and out of our concern for the safety and security of Lebanese airspace, we announce that Lebanese airspace has been closed to all arriving and departing planes and crossing Lebanese airspace, on a temporary and precautionary basis, as of 1: am on Sunday, 4/14/2024 until 7: am, and therefore air navigation at Beirut Rafik al-Hariri International Airport has been completely closed during this period, provided that this will be updated and reviewed according to developments.
