Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib has expressed his countrys fears about the expansion of the conflict in the region, affecting the security and safety of Lebanon. Bou Habib, in his speech during the open debate on the situation in the Middle East in the Security Council, reiterated the call for a ceasefire to move forward towards the full and undiminished implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701. He stressed the importance of refraining from carrying out cyber attacks that threaten the security and safety of networks, devices, applications, and electronic data in vital Lebanese establishments and facilities, especially Rafic Hariri International Airport, which threatens public safety and negatively affects its work and movement.
