Beirut: The Lebanese Ministry of Health has reported the death of a paramedic and injuries to two others following an Israeli airstrike on an ambulance in the town of Zefta, located in southern Lebanon. This incident highlights the increasing risks faced by emergency response teams amid ongoing hostilities.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the Lebanese Ministry of Health issued a press statement confirming that the recent attack in Zefta has brought the total number of paramedics killed since the onset of the aggression to 173. Additionally, 277 paramedics have been reported injured, and 243 ambulances have been targeted throughout the conflict.
The Ministry’s announcement underscores the severe impact the aggression has had on emergency medical services in Lebanon.
