Beirut: A Lebanese citizen was killed Thursday in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon. The incident has escalated tensions in the region, drawing attention to the ongoing conflict.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the airstrike targeted the town of Aitaroun, resulting in the death of a civilian. This attack is part of a series of aerial operations conducted by Israel in the region.
In a related development, an Israeli drone also bombed the town of Umm al-Tut in the western sector of southern Lebanon. These actions occurred alongside reconnaissance flights over Lebanese territory, extending as far as the capital, Beirut.
