Geneva - Together - The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said that the war robbed the children of Gaza of their childhood. Lazzarini added, in a post on his account on the 'X' platform, on Thursday, 'The children in the Gaza Strip went through what no child in the world should see or endure. Many of them were killed, many of them were injured, and many of them will remain disfigured for life.' He continued, "Those who survived are suffering from deep trauma. Their schools were destroyed and they lost an entire year of school, without education or play," noting that "without a ceasefire, we will have a lost generation." Source: Maan News Agency
