Services provided by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) are uninterrupted because of the global IT glitch, the bank affirmed on Friday. In a press release, the CBK revealed that the national banking sector was resilient in its response despite the outage affecting internet services on a global scale. CBK went on to say that, it monitored news on this global situation and took necessary protocols and steps since initial reports came out on the outage. The CBK instructed all entities under its supervision to implement its emergency plans to ensure the banking sector would continue to provide services and not affect the financial stability in the State of Kuwait. It affirmed that coordination would continue with the authorities to best manage this situation. Source: Kuwait News Agency
