The Kuwaiti Patients Helping Fund Society -- Sudan Branch -- distributed meat to 60,000 people in Sudan this year, the philanthropic association announced on Friday. This year's sacrificial meat projects have been concluded after slaughtering 292 cows, 195 sheep, and 526 goats, meat of which has been given to more than 60,000 people in the states of Khartoum, Kassala, Al-Jazirah and North Kordofan, Dr. Mohammad Ali Hajo, the director of programs department at the association said in a statement to KUNA. The sacrificial meat was distributed to people dwelling at the displaced centers, the sick and injured undergoing treatment at hospitals, medical cadres, and others.
