PARIS, Kuwaiti swimmer Mohammad Al-Zubaid, and shooting champion Khaled Al-Mudhaf both missed their chance to qualify to the Paris 2024 Olympics finals during Tuesday's events. Swimmer Al-Zubaid ranked sixth in the Swimming 100 Meter event after recording a 52.35 at La Defense Arena. Al-Mudhaf on the other hand, hit 120 out of 125 discs at chateauroux shooting center during the trap event. Chief of the Kuwaiti Olympics mission Ali Al-Marri spoke to the press affirming that the athletes have been great ambassadors of the country, and an honoring reflection of Kuwaiti youth. He stated that they all have the passion and drive to achieve the Olympic dream, adding that they were all keen on preforming excellently and attaining best possible results.
