Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya participated Wednesday evening in the European Union mission's celebration of the fifth anniversary of opening its new headquarters in Kuwait. In a press statement, the Foreign Ministry said Minister Al-Yahya expressed, during his participation in the event, Kuwait's pride in the friendly and cooperative relations with the European Union and friendly European countries. He commended the efforts of the EU mission in Kuwait to enhance cooperation between the two sides and push bilateral relations to broader horizons. The celebration was also attended by the EU Special Representative for the Gulf region Luigi Di Maio, ambassadors of the EU member states to Kuwait and heads and staff members of the foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations in Kuwait.
