PARIS, A policeman was wounded Thursday in a knife attack at the Avenue des Champs-Elysees in Paris, the French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin stated. Police officers have rushed to the 8th arrondissement of Paris at the request of security guards at the Louis Vuitton store on the corner of Rue Vernet and Avenue des Champs-Elysees to deal with a man with a knife in his hand. Upon seeing the police, a man fled the store and turned around and attacked a police officer injuring him in the ear. "Another police officer intervened and naturalized the assailant," Darmanin wrote on his X account. Source: Kuwait News Agency
