Kirkuk clans: We support the security forces and will not allow the stability of Kirkuk to be compromised

The tribal elders and notables of Kirkuk governorate affirmed their refusal to violate and threaten civil peace in the city, stressing that the national identity of Kirkuk and the support of the security forces are among the constants to consolidate security and protect its stability.

Sheikh Sufyan Al-Nuaimi, the Emir of the Al-Sada Al-Na'im tribe, stressed during a gathering held today that preserving the Iraqiness of Kirkuk and its national identity is the basis of stability in Kirkuk.

Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim Agha, one of the popular Sheikhs, confirmed that the clans gathered today to confirm their position and their national voice in confirming the identity of Kirkuk and its Iraqiness and supporting the security forces.

Sheikh Suhaib Al-Harmzi indicated that the components of Kirkuk will not allow the security, stability and identity of Kirkuk to be threatened.

In a statement, the clans affirmed their support for the decisions of the Iraqi government and the realism it showed in the security and political work, especially after the Prime Minister’s request to release the detainees to ensure the stability of the province and not to allow the third party to enter and support the security forces of all kinds.

The clans called on the Iraqi National Security Service and the Media and Communications Commission to pursue all those who aroused the anger of the street and were the cause of the crisis in Kirkuk, including the media, journalists and Kurdish activists.
