Gaza - Ma'an - Videos posted by Israeli soldiers on social media showed their attacks on Palestinians and their property in the Gaza Strip during the ground operation as part of the ongoing war since October 7. Immediately after the videos were published, activists on social media circulated one of them showing the arrest of a person by the Israeli army, in addition to other videos documenting the destruction of a mosque. The videos also showed horrific scenes of the bodies of Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers, left to be eaten by stray dogs in the streets of the Gaza Strip, without specifying the time and place of the attacks. The clips revealed Israeli military vehicles bulldozing Palestinian graves in the Strip, in a scene that expresses a violation of the sanctity of the dead. The videos also documented the bombing of citizens' homes, while the sounds of Israeli soldiers laughing and having fun were heard. During the war, Israel bulldozed dozens of cemeteries, completely destroyed 610 mosques a nd partially destroyed 214, in addition to completely destroying 150,000 housing units, rendering 80,000 uninhabitable, and partially destroying 200,000 others, according to the latest figures from the government media office. With American support, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, leaving more than 133,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and deadly famine. In contempt of the international community, Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate halt, and the International Court of Justice's orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
