Jordan’s King Abdullah II Calls for End to Conflict in Gaza

Amman: Jordan's King Abdullah II reiterated the urgent need to end the genocidal war being waged by the Israel occupation in the Gaza Strip and to de-escalate tensions across the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, this statement came during his meeting with Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela on Monday at Al Husseiniya Palace in the capital, Amman. King Abdullah emphasized that the escalation in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians threaten the stability of the entire region.

He reaffirmed Jordan's commitment to working with neighboring countries and allies to achieve peace, commending Malta's role in this regard. He stressed the need to end the war on Gaza, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid, and intensify efforts to reduce regional tensions.
