Jordanian FM Highlights Unprecedented Humanitarian Disaster in Gaza Strip

New York: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stated on Wednesday that the Gaza Strip is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, urging an end to the ongoing Israeli genocidal aggression.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Safadi made these remarks during separate meetings with delegations from Churches for Middle East Peace and peace process experts from the European Union missions accredited to the United Nations in New York. He emphasized the urgent need to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and advocated for the opening of crossings to allow aid into the enclave.

Safadi also underscored the importance of halting the escalation in the West Bank and addressing the encroachments upon Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, stressing the need to respect the legal and historical status quo in these areas.
