Amman: The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, Jordan's state grain buyer, issued two tenders to purchase 100-120 thousand tonnes of wheat and 100-120 thousand tonnes of barley. In its announcement on Thursday, the ministry called on potential traders to obtain a copy of the tender documents for a non-refundable JD650. The ministry added that the deadline for accepting the wheat bid documents is 2:pm Tuesday, corresponding to next July 2, while the barley tender will close at 2:pm Wednesday, July 3. To participate in the process, potential buyers must bring copies of a valid professional license, commercial register certified no more than 30 days prior to date of opening tenders, and a valid registration in a Jordanian chamber of commerce.
