Jordan Calls for Intensifying Efforts to Halt Israeli Attacks on Gaza

Amman: Jordanian King Abdullah II stressed the need to intensify international efforts to immediately halt Israeli attacks on Gaza. During a phone call with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, the King emphasized the urgency for the international community to act to compel Israel to abide by the ceasefire agreement in Gaza at all stages and resume the delivery of humanitarian aid.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the King warned of the dangers of the continued war on the lives of innocent civilians, highlighting the worsening of the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the potential for regional instability. He reiterated Jordan's position against the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, stating that there can be no peace or stability in the region without a just solution to the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution.
