Jordan: Jordan's Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) on Monday announced a partial and temporary closure of Jordanian airspace to all inbound, outbound, and transit flights, citing ongoing regional developments and a comprehensive risk assessment conducted in accordance with international aviation safety standards, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra). According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Chief Commissioner of CARC, Daifallah Alfarajat, stated that the measure will be implemented daily from 6 p.m. until 9 a.m. the following day, effective Monday evening and continuing until further notice. He mentioned that the decision is intended to safeguard civil aviation operations and ensure the highest levels of safety and security within Jordanian airspace amid prevailing regional circumstances. The Commission urged passengers to coordinate directly with their respective airlines to verify flight schedules and obtain updates on any changes resulting from the temporary restrictio ns.
