Jordan: Jordanian Ambassador to Iraq Maher Tarawneh and the President of the Iraqi Football Association (IFA), Adnan Darjal, discussed preparations for the forthcoming football match between Jordan and Iraq. According to Jordan News Agency, Tarawneh and his deputy Nours Jankhut visited Darjal in Baghdad to discuss the details of the match between the two national teams. This match is scheduled to take place on Thursday at Basra Stadium as part of the fifth round of the final qualifiers for the World Cup. Darjal elaborated on the strong relationship between the two countries, emphasizing that the IFA has proactively developed a strategy to "receive the Jordanian brothers and provide all necessary means to secure their attendance inside the stadium." This initiative highlights the importance of fostering sportsmanship and collaboration between Jordan and Iraq as they prepare for this significant event.
