Director General of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), Nizar Mheidat, took part in the "Health Services, Medicines and Medical Supplies Reforms and Health System Reform Strategy" conference in Erbil/Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The conference, which was organized by the Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region, presented data and analysis of the health care sector and reform measures for medicines and medical supplies, in addition to the announcement of the health system reform strategy, according to a JFDA statement. Accompanied by the Jordanian delegation participating in the conference, Mheidat visited the Ministry of Health of the Kurdistan Region and met with its minister, Saman Barzanji, and visited the Kurdistan Medical Control Agency (KMCA) and met with its director, Shirwan Sadiq Barzani, where they discussed means of joint cooperation in the control of medicines and medical supplies fields.
