Amman: A fresh convoy of seventy trucks carrying humanitarian aid has arrived in the Gaza Strip. The convoy was conducted by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and supported by the World Food Program (WFP) and a number of partner organizations, companies and institutions. The convoy is carrying food and flour, which will be given to our people in Gaza by partner groups and organizations in the Gaza Strip, according to a statement released by the JHCO. JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli said that the focus is mainly on foodstuffs due to the acute shortage of food within the Gaza Strip during the Eid period.
