Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) dispatched a fresh convoy of humanitarian aid for Gaza. Fifty trucks made up the convoy, which was sent out in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP) and funded by donations from various Jordanian organizations and public campaigns. The trucks delivered rice and necessary food packages to our people in Gaza, which will be given out by regional partner associations and organizations. As per the direction of His Majesty the King to support our people in Gaza, Jordan is ready to send more convoys and trucks, according to Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of the JHCO. Al-Shibli continued by saying that 53 aircraft and 2,270 land trucks have crossed into the Gaza Strip through Al-Arish. The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization is still able to accept financial contributions via a number of methods, including electronic wallets, the Union Bank account number JO32 UBSI 1030 0000 4010 1659 915 1 06, the "CliQ" service with JHCOGAZA, "eFAWATEERcom," and its website, www.jhco.org.jo.
