Italian Foreign Minister Calls Israeli Gaza Aggression ‘Unacceptable’

Rome: Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on Wednesday strongly condemned Israel's ongoing military operation in the Gaza Strip, describing it as 'tragic and unacceptable,' and calling for an immediate halt to the aggression. 'What the Israeli government is doing in Gaza has taken on tragic and unacceptable forms,' Tajani said during remarks before the Italian Parliament. 'We call on Israel to stop it immediately.'
